About me
Hi, I'm 24 and at the moment I live near Praa Sands in west cornwall although I'm in the process of buying a flat near Hayle. I've been surfing since I was about 9 or 10, I can't stay out of the water, I get withdrawl if I haven't been in for a week or so!! I've worked in the family carpentry business since I left college which is generally good, get quite a bit of free time when its quiet. Other than surfing I've taken up snowboarding over the last couple of years which I enjoy tho its a lot harder than I thought it would be, nothing like surfing really! I like to keep fit, go to the gym a couple of times a week if I can. Have been single for a while, partly due to being a bit shy when it comes to meeting girls and partly because all my friends are involved and therefore don't want to go out very much anymore. Would like to meet someone who is active and enjoys the outdoors, any offers?!

About me
- Where I liveWell I live in a very small village near Praa Sands which is good for one reason only, its close to the beach! Other than that I'm surrounded by retired people and living with my parents (not that I don't get on with them) so I'm saving like mad at the moment to get my own place as soon as possible!
- Do you want to stay there?Don't think I'd want to live anywhere else in the UK, Cornwall is great even if it is quite boring in the winter!
- What is your occupation?I work for my dad as a carpenter which is good as it means I get quite a bit of time off to surf, go to the beach etc
- What are your future plans?I'm not really too sure, would love to go travelling but really need to find someone to go with me!
- Your perfect partnerNot sure that there is such a thing. Not really interested in girls that don't have any hobbies or interests other than shopping! Um think having some things in common is good although I'm also always up for trying new activities as well. Obviously a girl that can surf or would like to learn would be ideal!
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Well I go to the gym a couple of times a week and usually swimming once a week to keep fit for surfing. I like football though I'm not fantatical about it, I love films and TV. I used to enjoy writing although I haven't done that for a while, I've written four books although I haven't managed to get them published yet.
- MusicI like most kinds of music, at the moment really into Bloc Party, J5, John Butler Trio, G Love, Incubus, Dashboard Confessional, Dire Straits, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Everclear, Foos, Linkin Park, Pendulum, Sublime
- Your fav tv series24, Alias, Angel, Buffy, Bones, Lost, Prison Break, Heroes, Neighbours
- Your fav books/authorsI don't actually read that much, sadly my favourite author has to be JK Rowling, Harry Potter rocks as far as I'm concerned. Also like Tolkien, Dan Brown and Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials' trilogy,
- What sort of movies do you like?I love films so I'm really not very picky, will watch anything from the slushiest rom com to the sickest horror film!
- Types of people you like?I like people who are chilled, kind, intelligent, polite and caring. Oh and fun is always a bonus! I cannot stand people who are up themselves and pick on other people's insecurites to make themselves feel better.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? I'm not going to say that looks don't matter because they do to most people if they're honest, I don't have a specific type of girl I like, have to be quite fit and athletic because I'm very active and like girls who are the same.
- FoodAh food, I'm quite picky with my food, mainly just eat crap although I have become quite a bit more adventurous over the last few years.
- DrinksUnlike food I will pretty much drink anything, I do like to have a drink when I go out though I very rarely get absolutely wrecked as it just seems such a waste! Never drink at home, just doesn't appeal to me.
- HolidaysI've been to Hawaii, France (surfing and snowboarding), Venice and Paris. Would love to do more travelling, top of my list is America, also would love to go to Bali, Australia and Mexico. I'm going snowboarding again this winter but haven't got anything else planned, would love to meet someone who wants to travel as much as myself.
- PetsI like animals but don't actually have any pets at the moment.
- Fav thingMy surfboards are probably more important to me than my car! Just so many memories of great (and sometimes bad!) sessions over the years.
- Fav PlaceSitting out on the rocks at Praa Sands, just so peaceful and beautiful.
My attitude
- Family lifeWell I'm still young so not looking to get married for a while (although you never know if the right girl came along!)
- Jobs&WorkingMy job isn't particularly important to me other than that it lets me live the type of life I want to live.
- MoneyTo say that money isn't important is naive but it certainly isn't what drives my life and I'd prefer to be happy than rich.
